Postdocs

Chayanin Sararat

Dr. Chayanin Sararat is a postdoctoral fellow supported by the Program Management Unit for Human Resources & Institutional Development, Research, and Innovation (PMU-B) of Thailand. Her research concentrates on employing mathematical models to enhance our understanding of infectious disease transmission dynamics and assess the effectiveness of public health interventions. Presently, she is actively engaged in a project aimed at developing biophysical models to investigate the airborne transmission of respiratory viruses on Earth and within a space station environment. Additionally, she plays an active role in modeling COVID-19 transmission and monitoring SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater in Thailand.

Supassorn Aekthong

Dr. Supassorn Aekthong is a postdoctoral fellow supported by a prestigious research grant from The Rockefeller Foundation. Her research mainly focuses on employing mathematical modeling and machine learning to investigate the impacts of climate change on the transmission dynamics of dengue and leptospirosis in Thailand.
